That Spades is the ultimate family game. Requires much more skill than most card games and is fairly easy to learn, considering the depth of the game. Oh, and won’t destroy families like Monopoly or Risk.

It’s a tradition in my wife’s family. I think it’s one of those games where every family has different rules even different names. We played with some one the other day that called it peanuts.
